You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailMountain Recreation in Gypsum is looking for a qualified gymnastics/trampoline coach for our beginner and advanced trampoline classes. Our trampoline coaches must be able to teach trampoline fundamentals as well as advanced skills understand progression and teach ages 614 in a guided and safe environment.
Qualified applicants for this role must have previous trampoline teaching experience and extensive knowledge of trampoline safety progressions and equipment. Specialists are responsible for general program design and implementation monitoring of skills and progression of all students general oversight and training of other trampoline coaches and able to professionally communicate with students and families.
Mountain Recreation offers a fun exciting environment to our participants and staff alike; one that fosters skill building movement life skills and fun! Applicants must be enthusiastic and love working with children have strong skills in working as a team with coworkers and show strong communication and class management skills. Physical requirements include lifting at least 25 pounds continual movement over uneven surfaces climbing stairs setting up mats and equipment etc.
Schedule:
Gymnastics Summer Camp: Monday Thursday 9am 12pm and/or 1:004:00 pm MondayThursday throughout the summer.
Gymnastics School Year Camp: Monday Thursday 3:30pm 7:00pm
Salary:
Gymnastics Coach I Trampoline: PartTime; Hourly; Starting: $14.96 $18.69/hr DOE
Gymnastics Coach II Trampoline: PartTime; Hourly: Starting $18.57 $23.21/hr DOE
Staff in this position are eligible for a $1/hr incentive if they are Spanish/English bilingual and can pass the language competency test.

Duties: Responsible for supervision instruction checkin/checkout and safety of specific programs or activities.
Examples of Duties:
Ensure customers follow all set AntiGravity trampoline rules
Supervises all classes and programs as assigned.
Provides onsite supervision of programs and classes
Interact with participants and display good public relations
Inspect facilities as needed to ensure a safe and positive experience for participants and spectators.
Evaluates classes and programs using measures provided by the supervising supervisors
Work as a team with other Mountain Recreation employees.
Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge & Skills:
Strong customer service skills
High Energy level and a positive attitude
Previous trampoline experience is a plus
Previous customer service experience is a plus
Ability to communicate effectively with customers participants and staff
Knowledge of safety requirements and procedures related to recreation programs assigned
Ability to instruct supervise recreation programs in the area assigned.
Experience:
1. Minimum 15 years of age or older; AND
2. High school graduation or equivalency or currently attending high school; AND
3. Previous volunteer or work experience providing; OR
4. Any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge skills and ability to perform the above described duties.
Declaracin general de deberes: Responsable de brindar capacitacin / entrenamiento instructivo de calidad a los participantes del programa. Debe poder demostrar habilidades y comunicarse bien con los nios y los padres. Capacita y asigna instructores voluntarios entrenadores y personal a tiempo parcial. Administra el papeleo y cumple con el trabajo de preparacin.
Supervisin Requerida: Trabaja bajo la supervisin directa del Supervisor de Recreacin Gimnasia.
Ambiente de trabajo: El horario de trabajo y el nmero de horas vara. El trabajo puede ser fsicamente exigente. El horario es variado y puede requerir noches fines de semana y das festivos. El horario vara segn las necesidades especficas del programa. El empleado debe sentarse pararse y caminar regularmente durante largos perodos de tiempo hablar y escuchar levantar y/o mover hasta 50 libras de peso proporcionar ejercicios de gimnasia de hasta 175 libras escalar o mantener el equilibrio agacharse arrodillarse gatear o ponerse en cuclillas ocasionalmente. Se requiere que el titular use las manos para tocar manipular o sentir objetos herramientas o controles. Tambin se requiere escuchar y hablar con frecuencia en persona y por telfono. Ms del 90 del tiempo se puede pasar en el interior. El nivel de ruido es de normal a alto en un entorno de gimnasia activa.

Imprescindible conocimientos de gimnasia. Fuertes habilidades de comunicacin oral son necesarias y requeridas. Capacidad para trabajar con un grupo diverso de personas de manera efectiva y diplomtica. Fuertes habilidades de servicio al cliente son requeridas y necesarias. Se espera la capacidad de manejar situaciones difciles que involucren a los participantes con paciencia buen juicio y diplomacia.
