Job Description
An exciting fulltime opportunity is available for a Clinical Lab Technologist specializing in Chemistry. This role offers the chance to perform routine and emergency tests on blood serum spinal fluid and other body fluids using both automated and manual equipment. Youll play a key role in maintaining QA and QC standards while managing specimen processing for timely and accurate results.
Position Details:
- Shift: Night 11:30 PM 8:00 AM) with alternate weekends
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing on various body fluids using manual and automated instruments
- Monitor specimens to ensure timely completion
- Review test results report abnormal findings and resolve quality control issues
- Prepare reagents and manage inventory
- Keep accurate records and maintain equipment logs
- Provide leadership and training to technicians as needed
- Conduct testing on various body fluids using manual and automated instruments
- Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in a physical science or medical technology (preferred)
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License or limited permit required
