Under the direction of a Registered Nurse assesses patient/family health problems and resources. Assists in the development implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team. Provides technical nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations.
This position requires providing care and/or service to a critically adult/ geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and/or developmental age of the individual served.
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of San Gabriel Valley Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support San Gabriel Valley Medical Centers strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
Correctly differentiates between normal/abnormal findings; refers abnormal findings to the Registered Nurse.

Education/Training/Experience
Graduate of a LVN School of Nursing
Hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator experience preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish/Vietnamese/Chinese) preferred
Current California LVN license
Current BLS Card
IV Therapy Certification within 90 days of hire
