Prepare journal entries essential to building an accurate general ledger.
Reconcile all balance sheet accounts in accordance with departmental policy.
Prepare and review quarterly reporting schedules used for internal and external reporting.
Assist with research and analysis in support of the quarterly audit.
Assist in the coordination of and preparation for financial audits as required.Monitor banking activity to ensure funds are flowing through the correct accounts.
Maintain internal control environment and ensure accuracy.
Develop process flows identify process constraints and implement improvements to the department.
Prepare ad hoc financial analysis in support of special requests.
What Youll Bring:
Bachelors degree in accounting. CPA desirable but not required.
Excellent analytical and creative thinking aptitude in both an independent and team environment.
Understanding of GAAP accounting
Must be a selfstarter with the ability to work independently be well organized perform under stressful situations and communicative effectively.
Advanced excel skillsKnowledge of PeopleSoft Oracle and Hyperion financial systems helpful.
24 years of experience working within a general ledger and supporting month end close and reporting.
Unless there is a legal requirement experience will be accepted for the training requirement
