Detroit Aggregate Truckingis looking for aFleet/Heavy Equipment Mechanicsto perform maintenance on our fleet of Class 8 trucks and construction equipment.
***New Mechanics Welcome / Willing to Train / Must have own set of tools***

Responsibilities Include:
- Repair diesel trucks trailers and heavy equipment in a timely and efficient manner
- Inspect brake systems steering mechanisms wheel bearings and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper working condition
- Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
- Repairing and troubleshooting of major components such as engine transmission and differentials
- Tire repairs/ Landing gear repair
Job Requirements:
- Basic set of tools (required)
- Experience working on hydraulics concrete mixer trucks gravel train equipment and diesel trucks is a plus
- Experience working on heavy equipment such as loaders and excavators
