Flexion Inc. a Madison WI based IT Consulting and Services firm is looking for a Security Analyst to work on a longterm consulting project. The client for this position is based in Madison WI.

Project details:
The Security Analyst will be responsible for leading and executing complex security assessments incident response activities and vulnerability management programs. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert providing guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and will play a key role in developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
Minimum of 8 years experience with the following:
Leading complex security assessments including penetration testing vulnerability scanning and risk assessments to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Developing and implementing incident response plans and lead incident response activities including containment eradication and recovery.
Managing and improving vulnerability management programs ensuring timely identification and remediation of security weaknesses.
Nice to have skills:
A strong understanding of network protocols operating systems and security technologies (e.g. firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems SIEM).
Proficiency in security assessment tools and techniques including penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
Relevant security certifications (e.g. CISSP CISM CEH OSCP) are highly desirable.
The annual salary range for this role is $85000 $110000 and Flexion offers a comprehensive benefits package to all employees
