We at Infosys Consulting are looking for Risk and Compliance professionals with regulatory experience across various levels of expertise particularly those with a solid background in audit.
The Role
As a Principal you will lead and manage consulting engagements focused on establishing assurance frameworks for the first line of defense 1LOD). You will be responsible for its delivery with great quality budget and staffing. You will collaborate closely with senior client stakeholders and leadership to foster positive relationships. You will also contribute to the firms development by guiding and mentoring teams and sharing your expertise. Your insights will be pivotal in advancing Infosys Consultings thought leadership in the industry.
Consulting Delivery
  • Manage performance of audit work and review working papers with audit management
  • Work with the business to develop and implement continuous assurance processes
  • Prepare and summarize audit reports to senior management and stakeholders whilst making longlasting collaborative relationships
  • Lead the of highvalue audits ensuring key controls and design efficiency are adequately implemented and identifying inefficiencies whilst making recommendations for improvement
  • Lead the establishment and enhancement of assurance frameworks for 1LOD within financial services organizations.
  • Gather and analyze key regulatory requirements and processes to design and develop effective data and process maps that meet reporting needs.
  • Conduct interviews/workshops with subject matter experts and process owners to elicit and document assurance requirements.
  • Apply working experience on change initiatives related to key regulations (e.g. CCAR BCBS 239 CCPA MIFID) to improve 1LOD effectiveness.
  • Understand key regulatory directives issued by U.S. financial oversight bodies (e.g. Fed FINRA) to identify processes impacted by specific regulations.
  • Define workflow management and enterprisewide reporting requirements for compliance reports.
  • Collaborate with clients to define longterm vision goals and strategies related to assurance in regulatory reporting.
  • Advise clients on best practices for integrating assurance into their operational processes.
  • Collaborate with client functions (Operations Compliance Risk) to assess the impact of regulations on existing policies and controls.
  • Manage endtoend project while proactively identifying issues and recommending remediation strategies.
  • Engage with Regulators and Internal Audit to explain results and methodologies employed for report generation.
Practice Development
  • Provide insights on new and emerging technologies best practices that enhance 1LOD capabilities and contribute to the development of service offerings
  • Work with other practice members to support Infosys Consulting thought leadership activities and develop innovative assets including differentiated points of view and methodologies
  • Prepare white papers and participate in industry conferences webinars and forums
  • Contribute to practice growth through recruitment campus hiring and training
People Management
  • Mentor individuals and guide them through their career progression and development
  • Coach and develop junior team members to deliver quality results while promoting professional development
  • Participate in and contribute to practice training activities
  • Leverage your professional/social connects to attract talent

Business Development
  • Lead small medium sized sales pursuits and business development activities ranging from creation of client proposals to formulating commercial constructs / contracts
  • Develop and build relationships at senior management and CXO levels
  • Look for opportunities to formulate and present Infosys Consulting propositions and service offerings

What makes you the right candidate
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the Financial Services industry with a strong understanding of the business technology and operations
  • Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent; or three years of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant audit experience within financial services or consulting environments
  • Strong understanding of regulatory standards applicable to banking institutions
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills with ability to build relationships at senior management and CXO levels
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment bringing structure to it
  • Strong background of leading teams comprising both IT and business specialists
  • Demonstrated proficiency to convert business requirements into technology solutions with the commercial acumen
  • Successful in business development including exposure to sales cycles
  • All candidates must be willing and able to travel up to 100 depending on client requirements
Even better if you have
  • Strong understanding of risk and controls frameworks and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication reporting and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to identify key risks and controls for better audit planning and
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree Industry recognized certifications like CIA CFSA CISA CRMA CMA IIA.
  • Domain knowledge of banking products such as deposits loans securities derivatives etc.
  • Experience with one or more industry standard products like Audit Board SAP Audit Management MetricStream TeamMate HighBond Onspring Resolver Hyperproof Go Audits Collibra JIRA etc.
  • Knowledge of data analysis skills using SQL and data reporting / visualization tools (like Tableau) will be an advantage
  • Experience in executing programs using Agile methodologies
  • Worked in a crosscultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary
