Job Summary
The Ultrasound Tech performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures and provides high quality care for patients of all ages
from neonatal to geriatric. Works in a fastpaced rapidly growing environment with reliance on your expertise
professionalism and collaboration. Produces diagnostic ultrasound images in accordance with department scanning
protocols under the general supervision of a Radiologist. Interacts with patients physicians and staff in a professional
and friendly manner.

Additional Educational Requirements
Satisfactory completion of an accredited Sonography program.

2 years of clinical diagnostic ultrasound experience is preferred.
Certification & LicensuresCertification / License & State (if applicable) Additional Information
ARDMS Certification in at least 1 specialty required
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) American Heart Healthcare
Provider (HCP) AHA approved
required*
Additional Certification/Licensure Requirements
Additional RDMS certification in which the department is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) in
accordance with the accrediting bodys guidelines.
* New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.
