The Event Manager is responsible to plan manage and execute tradeshows webinars/virtual events customer events and other event types as determined by the business. The Event Manager is responsible for project management and driving results through of subject matter expertise.
The role is part of a highenergy fastmoving events team Responsible for identifying planning and implementing a variety of physical and digital event programs including tradeshows customer/partner events product launches thought leadership and technical sessions media/analyst briefings etc. as well as Cytivas own conferences that will help Cytiva meet its business objectives. The position requires strong tradeshow/event/meeting planning project management and skills as well as solid budgeting and lead tracking experience.
This position reports to the Global Events Leader and is part of the Marketing Communications organization within Global Group Marketing working remotely to cover multiple global regions.
What you will do:
Responsible and accountable for the entire event life cycle of planning implementation and followup/debrief including but not limited to
Event contracting
Event/project planning and management
Onsite event
Analyzing and actioning event data
Compliance and finance processes (IPP OnePIA PO submissions vendor set up etc.
Who you are:
Bachelors degree in marketing or a related field
Experienced managing tradeshows and events
Passionately detailoriented meticulous and able to work autonomously
Ability to creatively identify analyze and suggest solutions for challenges while multitasking on multiple projects and meeting deadlines consistently
Team player and leader who possesses strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills
Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to travel internationally as required 1535
Ability to lift and move 40 lb. boxes
Sufficiently mobile to handle an extended travel schedule
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience with inventory management software such as Exhibitforce
Experience and understanding of life sciences pharmaceutical biotechnology industries
