Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow and Java Developer to join our clients Technology team. As a Senior ServiceNow and Java Developer you will play a critical role in designing developing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform as well as contributing to the development of Javabased applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements and collaborate with technical teams to deliver highquality solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop test and deploy solutions on the ServiceNow platform including workflows integrations and custom applications
- Develop highquality Java code for our applications following best practices and design patterns
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall code quality
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues working with our support teams as needed
- Stay uptodate with industry trends and emerging technologies applying this knowledge to improve our solutions
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on ServiceNow and Java development
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform including workflows integrations and custom applications
- Proficient in Java 8 or later with experience in developing scalable and efficient applications
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
- Strong problemsolving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloudbased technologies such as AWS or Azure
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL
