Job Description
Position: General Pulmonologist
Location: Goldsboro NC
JobType: Fulltime
Seekinga General Pulmonologist to join growing team. This position offers theopportunity to provide highquality costeffective care to a diversepopulation of patients with chronic respiratory conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage chronic respiratory diseases such as asthma emphysema and lung cancer
- Provide bronchoscopy pulmonary function tests and ventilator management
- Coach patients on lifestyle changes to manage their illness
- Optional consultation services for pulmonary and sleep issues
- Treat conditions such as COPD sleep apnea and provide pneumonia and influenza vaccinations
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonology
- Experience or training in general pulmonology required
- Critical care management experience is preferred but not required
