Are you passionate about privacypreserving AI Are you interested in developing the next generation privacypreserving AI/ML capabilities to better understand how people use consumer care products
Given IMU data from user activity we will measure effort/comfort of consumers performing routine daily tasks. We will a) segment microactions / subactivities b) determine effort required during specific tasks c) assess time taken to complete a certain task e.g. time to clean dishes brush teeth wash hair perform laundry tasks.
Help us to design studies to collect training datasets for new tasks and use annotation for IMU data for event classification (Human Activity Recognition) and then take this data and build models for HAR. Propose new sensors and research methods for HAR. Interface with consumer researchers and product development technologists to envision new sensing capabilities and then build and qualify them for research usage.
Job Qualifications
Ph.D. in Computer Science / Engineering or similar field.
Experience with IMU data acquisition and processing.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Handson experience with sensors robotics linux operating systems.
Android/iOS development Data/systems architecture design Cloud IoT experience an advantage.
