Were seeking an experienced Mechanical Robotics Engineer to join our clients team. As a Mechanical Robotics Engineer you will design develop and deploy robotic systems and mechanisms focusing on mechanical and electromechanical components. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to integrate robotics into business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Design: Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical components for robotic systems including actuators sensors and gearboxes.
- Robotics System Integration: Integrate mechanical components with electrical and software systems to create fully functional robotic systems.
- Prototyping and Testing: Develop and test prototypes to validate mechanical designs and ensure performance safety and reliability.
- Mechanical Analysis: Perform mechanical analysis including stress analysis thermal analysis and dynamics analysis to optimize robotic system performance.
- Collaboration: Work closely with electrical engineers software engineers and other stakeholders to integrate robotics solutions into business operations.
- Technical Documentation: Document technical designs architectures and implementation details.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- Mechanical Engineering: Experience with mechanical engineering principles and design including mechanics of materials machine design and mechanical systems.
- CAD Software: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks Autodesk Inventor Fusion 360.
- Materials Science: Knowledge of materials science and selection of materials for robotic components.
- Mechanical Systems: Experience with mechanical systems including actuators sensors and gearboxes.
- Robotics Frameworks: Familiarity with robotics frameworks and libraries (e.g. ROS).
Soft Skills:
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
