Job Description
The Teppan Cook for Mizumi Fine Dining is responsible for preparing cooking and plating all food items in a timely and palatable manger along with being responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards.
Qualifications :
- Requires a minimum of four 4 years of experience in sushi preparation including working in a teppanyaki environment preferably in an upscale fine dining setting
- Candidates must exhibit accurate knife skills knowledge of sanitation seafood handling sushi and plate presentation
- Candidates must be able to communication in English read and follow recipes and explain food items to dinner guest
- Requires the ability to work within a team environment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required at present or in the future for this position at all times
