Job Description

Overview
The MPC Inspection role is critical in ensuring that all machinery production and construction works meet the required standards and safety regulations. This position is responsible for conducting inspections evaluating processes and implementing corrective measures where necessary. By maintaining a high level of quality assurance the MPC Inspector directly contributes to enhancing operational efficiency and compliance within the organization. The inspector acts as a vital link between various departments ensuring that all personnel adhere to established safety protocols and industry standards. With a focus on minimizing risks and maximizing productivity the MPC Inspection role is essential for achieving organizational goals and maintaining a competitive edge in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and production processes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Identify and report potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to review and improve inspection processes.
  • Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inspection protocols.
  • Train staff on safety practices and inspection requirements.
  • Monitor production areas to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategies.
  • Participate in safety meetings and provide insights on risk assessments.
  • Assist in investigating accidents and nearmisses to determine root causes.
  • Maintain inspection equipment and ensure readiness for use.
  • Support in the development of safety policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate with external agencies during inspections and audits.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements based on inspection outcomes.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Environmental Science or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in inspection or quality assurance roles.
  • Certifications in safety inspection such as OSHA or equivalent.
  • Indepth knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
  • Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in conducting training sessions on safety and inspection practices.
  • Familiarity with risk management concepts and practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inspection software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Will to travel to various sites as required by inspection needs.
  • Knowledge of current industry trends and advancements in inspection technology.
