Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Head Financial Services to lead and manage all aspects of business operations across multiple clusters within a region. The role will focus on driving growth in financial products (insurance mutual funds wealth management) leading sales teams ensuring operational efficiency and maintaining strong client relationships. The Regional Head will be responsible for setting strategic objectives achieving regional financial targets and overseeing business development and market expansion within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead and oversee the operations of multiple clusters or branches within the region.
  • Set clear regional targets and ensure alignment with overall corporate goals.
  • Provide leadership guidance and support to the Cluster Heads and their teams ensuring that sales and operational objectives are met.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration high performance and accountability across all teams in the region.
  • Business Growth and Sales Strategy:
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive business growth and expand market share for financial products such as insurance mutual funds and wealth management.
  • Monitor and manage the overall sales performance across the region to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Work closely with the leadership team to identify new business opportunities market trends and potential for expansion within the region.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients highnetworth individuals corporate accounts and industry stakeholders.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by monitoring service quality handling escalations and ensuring the timely resolution of client issues.
  • Lead efforts to enhance customer retention and loyalty through effective relationship management.
  • Strategic Planning and :
  • Develop and implement longterm and shortterm strategies for the region to achieve financial growth and operational excellence.
  • Lead business planning sessions and review performance against goals identifying areas of improvement and driving corrective actions.
  • Understand regional market dynamics and align business strategies to tap into potential market segments and untapped opportunities.
  • Operational Oversight and Efficiency:
  • Ensure seamless operations across all branches in the region including managing daytoday operations processes and resources.
  • Oversee financial product delivery and ensure adherence to operational standards compliance regulations and risk management protocols.
  • Implement process improvements and operational best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Team Development and Talent Management:
  • Identify training needs facilitate development programs and ensure the continuous professional growth of employees across the region.
  • Promote a performancedriven culture by setting clear expectations providing feedback and conducting regular performance appraisals.
  • Actively recruit onboard and retain top talent for the region to build a strong capable workforce.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and corporate policies across all operational activities in the region.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and ensure the region s activities adhere to financial regulations risk management practices and legal requirements.
  • Manage risk mitigation strategies and address any compliance or regulatory concerns in a timely manner.
  • Reporting and Analytics:
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on regional performance sales progress market trends and customer insights.
  • Use data analytics to assess business performance identify opportunities for improvement and make informed decisions.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide strategic recommendations to achieve regional and organizational objectives.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 1215 years of experience in the financial services industry with at least 57 years in a senior leadership or regional management role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales growth operational efficiency and business development in financial services (insurance mutual funds wealth management).
  • Strong experience in managing multiple teams locations and business functions.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and drive highperforming teams.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to create and implement effective business plans.
  • Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and indepth knowledge of financial products.
  • Analytical mindset capable of deriving insights from data and implementing solutions.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Finance Economics or related field (Master s degree or MBA preferred).
  • Professional certifications (e.g. IRDA for insurance NISM for mutual funds) are desirable.
