Job Description: API Developer (Spring Boot)
Contract Duration: 1 Year
Location: Chennai
Experience: 69 Years
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced API Developer with expertise in Spring Boot to join our team for a oneyear contract. The ideal candidate will have 69 years of experience in API development and a deep understanding of Spring Boot framework to design and build robust scalable APIs. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality solutions in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with frontend developers designers and other stakeholders to integrate APIs.
- Write clean maintainable and efficient code.
- Ensure the performance security and scalability of applications.
- Implement best practices in API development and ensure the APIs are welldocumented.
- Troubleshoot debug and optimize API performance and fix any issues that arise.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects in an agile development environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in API development using Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in Java programming language.
- Handson experience in building scalable and highperformance RESTful services.
- Familiarity with database management and design (SQL NoSQL).
- Solid understanding of design patterns and best practices for REST APIs.
- Experience with Swagger or similar API documentation tools.
- Good understanding of version control systems like Git.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative fastpaced environment.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices.
Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days.
