Under the direction of the Dean of the General Education Pathway or designee to develop and teach concepts and strategies for a variety of courses. Will require teaching coursesinpersonat MATC campuses business community other sites and/or online during the day evening and/or weekend. Related duties include participation in department and advisory meetings department and college functions course and curriculum development in both traditional and nontraditional formats. Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare for and deliver instruction and perform teachingrelated activities.
- Manage the classroom/laboratory.
- Develop curriculum and monitor and revise as appropriate to maintain course effectiveness; assist in program evaluation.
- Manage equipment supplies and materials.
- Assess student performance and advise students on academic issues.
- Collaborate with the advisory committee in the program area.
- Attend departmental and institutional meetings.
- Promote the education/training program participate in efforts to recruit and retain students and participate in efforts to market MATC.
- Support student organizations and activities.
- Develop relationships with business and industry.
- Complete program evaluation and followup.
- Maintain certification continue professional development and stay current in the field.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Only those who meet all of the base minimum requirements listed below will be considered.
Minimum Educational Requirements:
Must have at least one of the following:- Masters degree or higher in PsychologyOR;
- Masters degree with at least 18 accredited GRADUATE level coursework credits in relevant courses such as Psychology Counseling Therapy and Clinical Social Work
Preferred Qualifications in ADDITION to the Minimum Requirements listed above:- Experience in teaching and/or developing curriculum in a variety of classroom environments including inperson and online.
- Experience using a variety of instructional methods including: facetoface blended and 100 online preferred.
- Must be able to develop and maintain curriculum currency.
- Bilingual Spanish/English fluency preferred

- Technologybased Instruction Experience with technologybased instructional delivery systems including SMART symposium interactive touch screen monitors LCD projectors DVD players and/or other classroom technology
- Emerging Technologies Experience with emerging technologies (eg. social networking applications)
Supplemental Information
Start Date: This position supports the General Education Pathway. We are currently looking for parttime instructors who can begin teaching during our fall semester (approximately midAugust 2025.
Position Details:This position is up to a .5 FTEand will require teaching courses at MATC campuses business community and other sites.
Hours location and modality are based on enrollment and departmental need.
Employees will conduct all work hours in the State of Wisconsin performing work outside the state is strictly prohibited.
Salary: The starting hourly wage for all parttime faculty is $40 per course hour of teaching. Parttime faculty are also compensated for an additional 45 minutes of time for each hour of instruction to cover office hours and prep time which is equivalent to $70 per hour. This starting hourly wage of $40 an hour is nonnegotiable
