Who we are
Since our start in 2017 weve been on a mission to improve the worlds financial health one smart tool at a time. With bold ambitions a love for testing new ideas and a deep commitment to making a real difference were growing fast. 2023 was a milestone year and were just getting started. Now were doubling down on one of our most important areas: Finance.
Were building a finance function that matches the pace and ambition of the rest of the company and were looking for a Senior Accountant whos excited about joining early shaping the way we work and building something from the ground up.
What you will be doing
As Senior Accountant youll be an integral part of building a finance function thats not just technically sound but also futureproof. Youll take ownership move fast and continuously improve how we do things. If you like clear structures predictable days and everything neatly in place this may not be the role for you (yet). But if you thrive in change enjoy being handson and get a kick out of fixing things that are messy youll feel right at home.
Some of the things youll be working on:
Running and improving daytoday accounting activities and supporting junior colleagues.
Leading monthly and yearly closing processes and support in external reporting.
Preparing annual financial statements (K3 but if youre into IFRS thats great too).
Handling income tax and supporting audits.
Leading finance projects that streamline automate or otherwise make our lives easier.
Involved in consolidating group income statements and balance sheets.
Who you are
Youre not afraid to roll up your sleeves. You work independently ask questions and care deeply about getting things right. Youre energised by working in an environment where things are evolving and youre the kind of person who makes them evolve in the right direction.
Furthermore its important that you thrive in a fastpaced scaleup environment where roles arent narrowly defined. Instead of working on a small piece in a large team youre used toand enjoytaking broader ownership juggling both structured responsibilities and more ad hoc tasks as they come.
What were hoping you bring:
Several years of experience working with accounting (more important than number of years: how handson youve been).
Strong Excel skills we know everyone says this but we mean it.
A habit of taking responsibility and getting things done.
Bonus if youve also got:
Experience with NetSuite or other similar larger systems.
IFRS knowledge.
Exposure to international accounting or VAT and tax structures.

This isnt your typical accounting role. Youll be part of building something new in a company where the pace is high the ownership is real and the ambition is shared. We trust people to know what theyre doing and well support you in doing it well.
Were an officebased team and we genuinely enjoy working together in person most of us are in the office four days a week. It helps us move faster collaborate better and have more fun while doing it.
