Carpet Installer

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Event Carpet Installer to join our team. As an Event Carpet Installer you will be responsible for the professional installation and removal of carpets at various event venues. This role requires attention to detail physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and remove carpets for events exhibitions and trade shows
• Measure and cut carpet to fit specific event spaces and requirements
• Ensure proper carpet alignment seaming and securing to create a seamless appearance
• Work with different types of carpets and flooring materials
• Operate and maintain carpet installation tools and equipment
• Collaborate with event setup teams to meet project deadlines
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
• Assist in loading and unloading of carpet materials
• Troubleshoot and resolve any installation issues onsite

Qualifications :

• 5 years of carpet installation experience
• Able to operate forklift 
• Previous experience in carpet installation preferably in event or commercial settings
• Knowledge of various carpet installation techniques and materials
• Ability to read and interpret floor plans and installation instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various positions (kneeling bending standing) for extended periods
