Role: FullTime SEN Lead Teacher (OneYear Position)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Lead Teacher to join our dynamic and supportive team for a fulltime oneyear position starting in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to take on a leadership role overseeing and supporting the educational progress of students with a wide range of additional needs.

About the Role:

As the SEN Lead Teacher you will lead the SEN provision across the school ensuring that students with additional needs receive the tailored support they need to succeed. Working closely with classroom teachers parents and external agencies you will implement and monitor strategies that promote inclusion foster individual growth and enhance student achievement.

This is a key role for an educator who is ready to shape and improve the educational experiences of students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate the delivery of SEN provision across the school

Provide guidance and support to classroom teachers on best practices for SEN inclusion

Develop implement and review individual education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN

Monitor and track the progress of SEN students and collaborate with parents and external agencies to ensure continuous improvement

Foster an inclusive culture where every student is encouraged to thrive and reach their full potential

    Key Requirements:

    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with SEN students

    Passion for inclusion and a commitment to student wellbeing

    Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues

    Excellent communication skills with an ability to engage with parents carers and external professionals

    A proactive flexible and solutionfocused approach to supporting individual needs
