- Responsible for maintaining a variety of packaged software solutions.
- Working with the Informatica Development team.
- Coordinate installation upgrades deployments maintenance monitoring configuration capacity planning and automation of Informatica PowerCenter and other ETL technologies.
- Use Contab Unix shell and other automation tools for of recurring tasks.
- Design and implement disaster recovery (DR) strategy.
- Configuration of High Availability setup and Grid process for Informatica repository and integration services.
- Create and maintain technical documentation troubleshooting guide and standard procedures.
- Triage and troubleshoot system errors and perform root cause analysis.
- Initiate and troubleshoot service desk tickets with third party providers.
- Perform system maintenance capacity planning and monitoring system health.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science Information Technology or related field of study and 5 years of progressive experience in Informatica Systems Administration.
Applicants must have demonstrated experience with:
- Installation and configuration of Informatica PowerCenter;
- Creating Informatica services including repositories integration model repository and data integration;
- Creating Informatica connections including DB2 SQL server PostgreSQL Vertica Sonic JNDI/JMS and Synapse;
- Creating Informatica folder and managing folder permissions;
- Cataloging new and existing DB2 servers to connect to Informatica;
- Creating and maintaining Informatica users and privileges;
- DBMS installation and configuration;
- Automation frameworks programming and scripting; and
- Performing root cause analysis.
Additional Information :
Salary range for position: $134000 to $162000 per year.
Work Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Candidates must be local or willing to relocate.
