Job Description
We are ever expanding our operations and looking for a highly skilled and dedicated individual with an emphasis on task ownership. We are an OEM Contract Manufacturer specializing in highprecision complex engineered plastics for the semiconductor industry and some metals for the Aerospace industry.
Advanced Manufacturing Engineer Job Requirements:
- Capable of process development concept ERP routing
- Proven capability in obtaining processing and generating quotes
- Technical writing for process instructions is required
- Understanding and utilization of GD&T per ASME Y14.5
- Experience with creating operational drawings is required
- Familiarity and Experience in CNC Manufacturing and Assembly environment
- Fixture design
- SolidWorks experience a plus
- Ability to communicate (verbally/written) to provide upperlevel management status updates
- Ability to mentor other Engineers on processes and procedures
Qualifications for Manufacturing Engineer:
- Strong use of ERP system (JobBoss is a plus)
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting is required
- CAD experience with a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings
- Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving mechanical or logistical problems that arise
- Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential
- Should have a positive and professional attitude
Education and/or Experience: Engineering Degree in Manufacturing Mechanical Aerospace or similar discipline. 2 years experience in manufacturing environment.
