Job Description

Financial Markets (FM) is the Banks gateway to the professional markets around the world. Our primary function is to service the needs of INGs clients with products services and guidance. FM aims to be a significant player in our market leader and challenger markets with an additionalpresence in all the major international markets and specialist expertise in selected emerging markets and products.

FM Sales provides both flow and highly bespoke financial solutions to clients. The FM Sales organization is structured to reflect the differing needs of our client portfolio. The Corporate team services the corporate Wholesale Banking clients in 6 sectors and the Retail and MidCorporate clients from the Domestic Banks across Europe.The Financial Institutions team is split into Institutional Sales and Loan Sales teams servicing the FIs Sector Wholesale Banking clients with traditional capital markets activity and Loan Asset Distribution.

Front Office Support is a Global function which sits within Financial Markets (Front Office) and provides strategic support and liaison to Trading Sales and Management of FM across all operational and support functions within WB.

Job Specification

Temporary Secondment Within the FM Front Office Support function you will form part of the Sales Support Team and you will be responsible managing part of the customer lifecycle on behalf of the FM Mono Product client population for Sales and Trading.

The experience and knowledge of the Sales Support Team is crucial to improving the existing onboarding process both within the front office and across all downstream operational and control processes.

The onboarding process involves multiple stakeholders and outsourced functions stakeholder management skills are therefore a must have. The specific target for the STA role requires the candidate to be proficient within the KYC process within ING in order to provide dedicated support for the FM business line.

Main Duties and Responsibilities of Role:

  • Support FM Front Office with the onboarding and maintenance of FM client relationships specifically:

    • Product onboarding for the entire FM customer base and product catalogue.

    • FM Mono Client onboarding (endto end) supporting FM PAMs.

  • Act as a liaison on behalf of FM Front office towards all second line and outsourced support teams developing a strong knowledge of necessary processes to drive operational excellence and achieve positive outcomes.

  • Performing client outreach: communicating liaising and followup with clients to obtain relevant information and documentation as required for the onboarding process.

  • Updating front office colleagues on status of completion of files within due dates and prioritizing urgent files

  • Managing the client offboarding/exit process under the guidance of front office colleagues

  • Ensuring data quality of source systems is maintained and anomalies are escalated.

  • Ability to manage a workload of files under process concurrently in an efficient manner.

  • Set tasks which supports the FM Sales organisation in delivering first class services to its clients.

Profile

The candidate must be able to work independently and can plan and make priorities without sacrificing on quality and deadlines. They must have excellent communication skills (English verbal & written) and demonstrate a collaborative mindset to get the job done.

Experience/Knowledge

Essential:

  • Client Service and/or Operations experience

  • Experience working in a fastpaced dynamic environment.

  • Experience with MS Office tools: PowerPoint Excel and SharePoint

  • Experience with Vantage

  • Experience in interpreting and implementing policies procedures and controls.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in facilitation / coordination role.

  • Knowledge of INGs operational set up.
