Van Pack Drainage Engineer

We operate 24/7 and as such you are required to work flexible hours weekends and participate in an oncall rota. Full training / PPE / use of company equipment will be provided to ensure that all our drainage engineers have the right tools competency and confidence to undertake the work to Lanes high standard of operation regardless of background or previous experience.
Position: Van Pack Drainage Engineer
Location: Chertsey STW Surrey Home Counties South
Job Type: Permanent fulltime
Hours: Monday to Friday (working both earlies and lates) 40 hours plus every other weekend and on call
Salary: 37000 per annum (made up of basic pay overtime on call allowance and bonuses)

About the Role:
Due to continued growth and development we are now looking for customer focused people to join us in our Utility Division working on our Thames Water contract service to deliver real and effective solutions to wastewater network and drainage problems.
- Travelling to residential sites in a van around the Home Counties South area powering a high pressure water jet for restoration.
- Clean clear and maintain drainage systems.
- Record each job report correctly on the specialist equipment provided.
- Run diagnostics and repairs on drains using electro mechanical and specialist CCTV survey equipment.
- Rodding blockages.
- Delivering good customer service.
- Maintaining good H&S practise while carrying out works.

About You:
The ideal candidate will be hard working and respectful and comply with health and safety standards. Experience in the use of High Pressure Jetting equipment is useful but not essential. Other drainage qualifications (e.g. NRSWA and Confined Spaces) are an advantage. You must have a full UK drivers licence
