Description TheStrategic Sales Engineer(SSE)is responsible forproviding productsupport to new prospects during the sales cycle. In this role you willidentifyunderstand and define customer needsanddemonstratehow the firmseDiscoveryplatformmeets those needs. You will provide technical sales supportfor pursuitsto close opportunitiesin thelaw firmcorporate government and thirdpartyserviceproviderssegments.TheSSEis considered one of the most knowledgeablemembers of the team and provides additional supportanddemonstrations for strategic purposes including tradeshows. Thishighly technicalsalessupportrole willhave an excellent understanding or all facets ofthe firms software and be able to clearly articulate how the softwareworks andhelp supporta prospects specific productquestions.Thisexciting role helps our prospects understandwhy the firms software is the premier eDiscoveryand AIplatformon the market.The successful candidate will have previous eDiscovery experienceand a proven track record ofdriving growth.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
This role requires the ability to really understand the prospects usecaseand workflowstotheneffectivelydeepdiveinto howthe firmssoftwaresolutionswill meet or exceed the prospectsrequirements.
Present the firms platformto current and prospective customerswith a master understandingthe variousfunctionality workflowsdifferentiatorsand customizationcapabilities.
Provides advancedlevel technical support to complex sales presentations and product demonstrations.
Participate in demo system design planning and specout configurationrequirementssetting clear expectationsand scope for handsontestingfor a positive outcome.
Listen and understand theunderlyingquestions from customers and tailor the product feedback accordingly.
The ability to present our workflows in simple and easy to digestcomponents.
Provide feedback to technology and sales leadership related toconcerns presented during productdemonstrations.
Collaborate with sales and client services teams for positive customer and prospectexperiences.
Consistently maintain ahighlevel of meeting activity with a target of fiveproduct demosper week
Stay current oneDiscoverymarkettrends and competitorstrategies.
Special Knowledge Skills Abilities and Training
5 years in eDiscovery or legal softwareindustry
Consistently ranked as top performer insales engineeringroles
Exceptionalverbal communication networkingand relationship buildingskills.
Ability to converse with prospects at all levels including the executivelevel.
Detailoriented with capacity to manage multiple simultaneous salescycles.
Ability to work independently in a fastpaced changing environment to prospect and develop new business; Ability to pivot and adjust product messaging according to customers use case.
Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentations
