Remote EU/Hybrid in Berlin SaaS
Is vibe coding the future of engineering
Thats the buzz on social media lately AI everywhere structure nowhere.
Were all in on using AI to work smarter from automating the boring stuff to speeding up delivery. But we dont see it replacing solid engineering anytime soon. Clean architecture scalable systems and maintainable code still need thoughtful humans behind them.

Tasks
What youll be working on
Reporting directly to the CTO youll join a small but growing founding team of 5 consisting of mostly senior engineers working BE/FE and full stack. Youll work with data pipelines and have an understanding of DS and DevOps. You dont have a problem working across the stack when needed and youll get involved in all parts of the platform.
- Backend brilliance: Build and maintain backend services using Python (Django) shaping a scalable platform architecture that powers our frontend and integrates with external systems
- Seamless integration: Design develop and document RESTful APIs to ensure smooth communication between modules and teams
- Data science meets engineering: Implement algorithms for our planning and optimization engine and ensure data flows cleanly with robust ETL pipelines
- Clean code clean data: Import validate and transform data efficiently to support forecasting and inventory logic
- Ship fast sleep well: Contribute to our CI/CD pipeline write meaningful unit and integration tests and help deploy backend and frontend services with confidence
- Own your work: Take initiative work across the stack when needed and own features endtoend in a lean ambitious team
Requirements
Who you are
- You have several years experience working in either a BE position or a data position which included BE Engineering
- We are remote first but we are collaborative if you prefer working silod & alone were probably not for you
- Experience with large platform systems and distributed architectures
- Strong data engineering and data science capabilities
- Proficiency in Python Django REST framework
- Entrepreneurial mindset (startups/freelancing experience)
Nice to have:
- Startup or freelance experience
Background in ecommerce logistics or finance platforms
Some frontend skills (e.g. reviewing PRs understanding UI flow)
Experience with ML/AI for forecasting or planning systems
