Job Description
- Adapt and modify curriculum and instructional materials to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Monitor and document student progress adjusting instructional strategies and interventions as necessary.
- Utilize skills to conduct assessments deliver instruction and communicate effectively with students and families.
- Provide training and support to school staff and families on strategies for supporting bilingual students with special needs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school district policies and special education regulations.
- Participate in IEP meetings parentteacher conferences and other meetings as required providing clear and effective communication.
- Collaborate with general education teachers specialists and support staff to create inclusive learning environments and support student progress.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in various settings including inclusive classrooms resource rooms and selfcontained classrooms.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
