Job Description

Discipline: Educational Psychologist Elementary School Caseload

Location: Cincinnati Ohio

Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours per week

Immediate Start Date

We are currently seeking a School Psychologist for the current academic school year. This position will guarantee the candidate fulltime hours throughout the entirety of the school year with the ability to renew dependent upon performance.

The School Psychologist will be responsible for planning and collaborating on student individualized education plans. We are looking for someone who can work well with parents and other staff members to help formulate plans that will help students develop academically behaviorally socially and emotionally. The School Psychologist will have access to professional development tools and all resources at the district including testing materials.

Position Details:
  • Conduct classroom observations to assess student behavior and learning environments.
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention strategies to support student success.
  • Provide direct counseling services to students to address emotional and behavioral challenges.
  • Assist in crisis intervention and support students dealing with trauma or mental health concerns.
  • Develop and implement programs to enhance socialemotional learning and student wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with teachers administrators and parents to create supportive learning environments.
  • Support teachers in implementing classroom management strategies and behavioral interventions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with ethical and legal guidelines in school psychology.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students cognitive academic social emotional and behavioral needs.

Requirements

Candidates must have a Masters degree in School or Educational Psychology and possess a valid school psychology license in the state of Ohio. Additionally they should either hold or be eligible to apply for an endorsement in School Psychology.
