Job Description

En tant que concepteur audio technique vous serez responsable de lintgration des effets sonores de la musique et des dialogues dans nos jeux. Ceci englobe du simple dclenchement deffets sonores lentire conception audio systmique au moyen de diverses solutions de logiciels intermdiaires. Vous travaillerez sur une technologie audio de pointe en dveloppant des outils/systmes audio et en intgrant les sons dans nos jeux pour offrir des expriences passionnantes aux joueurs. Vous ferez partie dune quipe axe sur la collaboration o vous aurez la possibilit de contribuer de manire significative.

 

  • Concevoir intgrer et dboguer des systmes audio pour le dveloppement de jeux en utilisant divers moteurs et logiciels intermdiaires comme Unreal Unity et Wwise
  • Combler le foss entre les concepteurs audio et les programmeurs en agissant titre dintermdiaire entre les deux disciplines
  • Collaborer avec des concepteurs de jeu et des programmeurs pour dvelopper des outils et systmes permettant aux concepteurs audio de concrtiser leur vision crative
  • Travailler avec lquipe de dveloppement pour concevoir de manire innovante des outils audio de pointe pour les dialogues les effets sonores et la musique utiliss dans nos jeux
  • Adopter et amliorer le processus de dveloppement audio existant
  • Grer les budgets des donnes audio lorganisation des projets Wwise la structure et le chargement des donnes audio et les optimisations audio dexcution
  • tre responsable de la documentation technique et de la formation des crateurs de contenu aux meilleures pratiques en matire de conception audio technique

As a Technical Audio Designer you will be responsible for the integration of sound effects music and dialogue in our games. This will include simple soundeffect playback and advanced systemic audio design utilizing various middleware solutions. You will work on cuttingedge audio technology expanding audio systems and integrating sound into gameplay to deliver exciting gaming experiences. You will be a part of a collaborationoriented team where you will have the opportunity to contribute in meaningful ways.

 

  • Designing implementing and debugging audio systems for game development utilizing various engines and middleware options such as Unreal Unity and Wwise
  • Bridging the gap between audio designers and programmers acting as the liaison between the two disciplines
  • Collaborating with game designers and programmers to develop systems/tools to allow audio designers to realize their creative vision
  • Working with the development team to design cuttingedge gameaudio tools for voiceovers /SFX/music in innovative ways
  • Adopting and improving the existing audio development process
  • Managing audio data budgets Wwise project organization audio data structure/loading and runtime audio optimizations
  • Taking responsibility for technical audio documentation and educating content creators in audio best

Qualifications :

  • Au moins 3 ans dexprience en tant que concepteur audio technique ou concepteur audio dans lindustrie du jeu avec au moins 1 cycle complet de dveloppement de jeu
  • Matrise des logiciels intermdiaires audio avec une spcialisation dans Wwise
  • Bonne exprience en intgration audio dans les moteurs de jeux Unreal et Unity
  • Exprience en criture de scripts pour les moteurs de jeu et logiciels intermdiaires audio (ex. : UE Blueprints Unity C# WAAPI WAQL Python etc.
  • Matrise des processus et outils de versionnement (ex. : Perforce Git SVN etc.
  • Excellentes capacits communiquer et aptitude grer plusieurs projets
  • Capacit travailler de manire efficace et autonome avec une grande minutie
  • Comprhension de base du DSP et des principes de programmation audio
  • Comprhension du processus dingnierie du mixage et des normes dintensit sonore loudness

 

Comptences souhaites

  • Exprience en dveloppement de jeu multiplateformes
  • Exprience en conception sonore production musicale et/ou conception de voix
  • Exprience en rdaction de documentation technique idalement sous Confluence
  • Comprhension des processus et outils de gestion de idalement sous Jira
  • Aptitudes pdagogiques et de vulgarisation

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years experience as a Technical Audio Designer or an Audio Designer within the games industry with at least 1 complete game development cycle
  • Proficiency with audio middleware and a specialization in Wwise
  • Good experience with audio integration in game engines including Unreal and Unity
  • Experience in scripting for game engines and audio middleware (e.g. UE Blueprints Unity C# WAAPI WAQL Python etc.
  • Proficiency with versioning tools and processes (e.g. Perforce Git SVN etc.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work efficiently and autonomously with great attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of DSP and audio programming principles
  • Understanding of the mix engineering process and loudness standards within the industry

 

Desires Qualifications

  • Experience in multiplatform game development
  • Experience in sound design music production and/or voiceover design
  • Experience writing technical documentation ideally using Confluence
  • Understanding of project management processes and tools ideally Jira
  • Strong teaching and coaching skills
