Role Description
A (senior) originator in Italian Origination plays several critical yet diverse roles within the business. These might be variously described as:
- Business Developer
- Networker and Market Player
- Negotiator and Solution Finder
- Business Enabler and Deal Maker
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with electricity market stakeholders in Italy
- Identify develop negotiate and execute structured energy transactions in Italy
- Explore the market and work out opportunities for new products
- Manage end to end deal approval processes with all internal stakeholders
- Support and manage issues arising from existing transactions
- Close collaboration with your team mates but also with colleagues across other business and support units
Requirements of the Role:

- Project gravitas and credibility when presenting ideas and aligning on business topics with portfolio managers and management
- Proactively and critically contribute to strategic discussions
- Have impact on the portfolio management interface challenging and contributing to hedging and pricing
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years experience in similar roles with shared and/or individual PnL responsibility
- Experience with complex power contracts and industry standard such as EFET and ISDA
- Strong understanding of the Italian power market
- University degree in a relevant field of study
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Written and spoken fluency in Italian and English is essential
