Job Description
Position: Mammography Technician
Confident Staff Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Ontario OR. As a Mammography Technician you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of breast diseases and abnormalities.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mammography procedures using specialized equipment
Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain the best possible images
Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
Monitor and record patient information and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images
Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure accurate and highquality images
Educate patients on procedures and answer any questions or concerns
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Keep uptodate with advancements in mammography technology and techniques
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Mammography Technician
Valid ARRT certification in Mammography
Knowledge of breast anatomy and pathology
Ability to operate mammography equipment and software
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Flexibility to work on a contract basis
