Role Overview:
Sancta Maria International School is seeking a forwardthinking and passionate ICT Teacher for the High School division to lead and inspire students through the Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) Computer Science/IT curriculum.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and relevant ICT lessons that foster computational thinking digital literacy and responsible use of technology. This role goes beyond classroom instruction its about empowering students to become confident problemsolvers ethical digital citizens and innovative thinkers in a rapidly evolving digital world.
The ICT Teacher will have the opportunity to work in a wellequipped technology environment contribute to the schools strategic vision for tech integration and play a key role in developing futureready skills among learners. As part of a collaborative and globally focused academic team the teacher will be expected to bring energy creativity and leadership to the ICT department.

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach ICT/Computer Science to students in Grades 912 in line with Cambridge IGCSE and IB DP standards
- Design and deliver engaging lessons that build students skills in programming computational thinking networks databases and digital tools
- Prepare students for IGCSE and IB Computer Science/IT assessments ensuring high academic standards and exam readiness
- Integrate technology creatively into classroom instruction and encourage ethical and safe use of digital tools
- Support crosscurricular projects that promote digital literacy and innovation across the school
- Maintain updated schemes of work assessment data and learning resources
- Participate in school events cocurricular activities and contribute to the broader technology strategy
- Collaborate with the ICT department and school leadership on tech integration and improvement initiatives
- Stay current with advancements in educational technology and participate in ongoing professional development
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field required
- Recognised teaching certification
- Experience teaching ICT or Computer Science at the secondary level (IGCSE/IB experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python Java) digital systems and educational technologies
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A passion for techbased learning and a forwardthinking mindset
