About the Role

A prestigious Independent school in Barnet is seeking a dynamic Computer Science Teacher to join their technology department. Youll teach engaging computer science lessons across Key Stages 35 equipping students with essential digital skills for the 21st century.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science Teacher lessons covering core programming concepts algorithms and data structures.
  • Prepare students for GCSE and ALevel examinations.
  • Develop students computational thinking and problemsolving skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the development of the computer science curriculum and resources.
  • Organise and lead computer sciencerelated extracurricular activities such as coding clubs and robotics workshops.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Computer Science.
  • Proven experience in teaching computer science at secondary level.
  • Strong programming skills and knowledge of computer science concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
