Job Description
Are you a handson DevOps Engineer with a strong network focus and apassion for automation Linux environments and cloud technologies Powering some of the worlds largest financial institutions including investment banks stock exchanges and pension funds thisglobal fintech is in need of a DevOps Engineer toon highavailability SaaS platforms in a collaborative fastpaced environment.
What Youll Do
- Collaborate with business analysts developers and product teams to define and implement infrastructure and deployment requirements
- Design and manage application environments across development testing and production
- Automate installation configuration and provisioning of applications and services
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support a seamless release process
- Configure and deploy secure runtime environments in both virtualized and containerized setups
- Support cloud infrastructure (IaaS) to ensure robust scalability and uptime
- Implement and manage server database messaging and loadbalancing configurations
- Uphold security standards across all deployments including IP whitelisting and VPN setups
- Continuously improve DevOps practices and operational efficiency
Tech Stack & Tools Youll Work With
- OS & Platforms: Linux (e.g. CentOS) VMware Kubernetes Docker
- Scripting: Bash Python Ruby Groovy
- Build & Deployment: Jenkins Maven Gradle Git SVN Ansible
- Cloud & Virtualization: AWS SoftLayer OpenVZ LXC VirtualBox
- Databases & Messaging: Oracle MySQL Solace WebSphere MQ
- Load Balancing & Networking: Apache Netscaler VPNs firewalls IP whitelisting
What You Bring
- 3 years of experience in DevOps or system engineering in production environments
- Solid understanding of Linux system administration
- Strong scripting skills and comfort with infrastructure automation
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and source control tools
- Knowledge of network security best practices in enterprise or SaaS environments
- Collaborative mindset and a drive to support and improve largescale systems
- Bonus: Experience in the financial services or highavailability SaaS space
