Schedule: MondayFriday 9:00am6:00pm EST but hours can be flexible (fulltime)
Role description: Events Assistant focused on Heavy Venue/Vendor Research and Event Planning to support dinners and/or summits.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Business or related discipline or equivalent relevant experience
- 24 years of direct experience in event and conference planning with a foundational understanding of hotel brands and restaurant groups.
- Excellent computer skills and a strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Excel PowerPoint) are essential.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities execute tasks under tight deadlines and thrive in a fastpaced highpressure environment while overseeing large projects from inception to completion.
- Exceptional attention to detail strong analytical skills and outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
- A creative problem solver with initiative a "get things done" attitude and a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances. A "work athlete" mindset—coachable innovative and highly focused.
