We are looking for an energetic highly motivated selfstarter to join ourNorwood MAteam as aJr. CAD Technicianwith knowledge in the civil/structural engineering field. As a Jr. CAD Technician you will use your judgment in making adaptations and modifications to drawings while working under the direction of senior technicians and engineers.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performsimple plan editing and review rough sketches drawings specifications and other engineering data received from senior technicians and engineers.
- Draftdetailed drawings of structures.
- Addengineering markups to plan sets.
- Is responsible for the visual quality of drawings and plan sets.
- Completeminor editing work and layout of plan sheets.
- Manageproject files for conformance with company systems.
- Workwith 3D models in various programs.
- Performengineering activities including inspection and report writing on an asneeded basis.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- A minimum of 05 years of drafting experience.
- Must have computer knowledge and working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
- Knowledge and experience with Civil 3D Geopack and 3D model space editing software a plus.
- Experience with MassDOT MBTA and/or Massport standards and procedures a plus.
- A valid drivers license.
