Deputy Nurse Manager (Supernumerary)

40 hours per week 08:00 16:00 or 09:00 17:00
Salary: Up to 54000

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Deputy Nurse Manager to provide leadership and support to our nursing team. This supernumerary role ensures the smooth operation of the nursing department maintaining high standards of care for our residents.

Set in the heart of the countryside our beautiful nursing home offers residential nursing and dementia care for older adults. You will work closely with the Home Manager who is also a registered nurse to uphold excellence in care delivery.

What were looking for

  • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with active NMC registration.
  • Strong leadership and management skills to motivate and support a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for engaging with residents families and colleagues.
  • Indepth knowledge of nursing home regulations safeguarding and infection control.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe inclusive and highquality care environment.

Your DaytoDay

  • Assist the Home Manager in overseeing daily nursing operations including staff scheduling resident care coordination and quality assurance.
  • Provide clinical leadership and mentorship ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct resident assessments develop individual care plans and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Lead staff training and development fostering a skilled and motivated nursing team.
  • Collaborate with other department heads and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated resident care.
