Whatyou wouldbe doing:
You wouldberesponsible forassuring all information needed foraccurateandtimelybilling is complete and ongoing documentation of changes recertifications and level of care documentation is present and timely.
Whatyourwork schedulewould be:
Thisposition works regular business hours with someflexibility toprovidecoverage for team members if needed on weekends and evenings.
Thesuccessfulcandidate:
Must have knowledge and experience in accounting functions including accounts payable billing accounts receivable collections and bank reconciliations.
Preferably has experience in long term care billing and collectionswithknowledge of Medicaid Medicaid Pending and generalinsurance.
Has the ability to work well with an interdisciplinary team and health care providers.
Has the abilitytoestablishand maintain rapport with clients and referral sources.
is an effective user of technology including typing personalcomputerand software applications in jobfunctions.Examples include Microsoft Outlook Email Word Excel Internet and use of billing and accounting software.
Has the ability to read analyze and interpret professional journals technicalproceduresor governmental regulations. Ability to communicate orally and through written reports and other documents relating to residentstaffand others. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of executives managers clients customers and the public.
Has the ability to define and solve problems collect dataestablishfactsand draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical journals and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
