We are looking for Senior Risk Officers with varying levels of experience who will contribute to delivering a comprehensive testing framework within Operational Dataand/or Regulatory & Conduct Risk. It is a valuable opportunity to become a part of a dynamic team and support thefurther development of the Control Testing Teams within Core Functions BCPM.

The Business Controls and Product Management (BCPM) department serves as a central component in supporting the Business in reaching its strategic goals with reporting lines to the heads of the three business units: Large Corporates & Institutions Business Customers and Personal Customers.

ControlsTesting is a specialised 1st Line of Defence control testing unit within BCPM separate from the control ownership and operation in the business units with the aim to ensure that controls are designed and operated effectively.

Responsibilities

You will join team members located globally in Denmark Lithuania Norway Sweden Finlandand Poland. Your focus will be on operational and/orregulatory risk areas ensuring effective control management within the 1st Line of Defence. Among your key responsibilities you can expect:

  • Taking responsibility for comprehensive control testing for Operational or Regulatory risks including test scripts for key controls determining appropriate test frequency governing documents and methodology.
  • Analysing and interpreting test results as well as assessing control ratings following testing to highlight areas of effective practices and needed improvements across business areas to increase both design and operational effectiveness.
  • Identifying key controls from inputs by regulators Business Units and Risk partners.
  • Collaborating with Testing teams Risk Partner teams and other units for control uplift and gap assessments and to identify opportunities for test automation for key controls.
  • Supporting escalation of test results and monitoring for Senior Management and Governing Risk Committees.

About You

You have ease in establishingrelationships with stakeholders and peers. Doing this through effective communication showcasing collaboration skills and professional conduct will help you gain trust and recognition quickly. We also expect you to possess the following experiences and skills:

  • 3 years of experience in nonfinancial risk management particularly in operational risks and regulatory risks with an understanding of risk and control management practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Investment Products Trade Markets or regulatory frameworks such as EMIR DoddFrank and MiFID II.
  • Ability to identify underlying risk drivers and trends coupled with process and control improvement opportunities.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Higher education and knowledge of Swedish are considered as beneficial.

We Offer

If you are hired in Lithuania your monthly salary will range from 3360 EUR to 5040 EUR gross. Your title will be Officer Business Risk and Controls Senior. Please note that depending on your experience and knowledge we may offer you a different seniority for the role.
