High volume auto dealership in Austin TX is seeking an experienced accounting clerk with at least two years of dealership work experience. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic with dealership accounting knowledge and a proven ability to succeed.
Job description:
Handle the daily activities of a proven accounting clerk ensure timely processing work closely with management to effectively keep up to date with accounting schedules and journal entries.
Job benefits:
Hourly rate commensurate with experience between $20 $23 per hour. The Company offers among the best benefits in the industry with PTO health dental and vision insurance as well as a 401k.
Job responsibilities include:
- Organize and maintain daily accounting duties.
- Process daily deposits from sales parts and service.
- Stockin new vehicles and prepare files.
- Identify and investigate accounting discrepancies.
- Create and post journal entries.
Job requirements:
- Dealership accounting office experience required.
- Selfstarter that is upbeat and outgoing.
- Exceptional communication including email telephone and inperson contacts.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Dealertrack DMS experience is preferred.
Hours:
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with overtime required as necessary.
