Due to increased Project work in our Maintenance team we are seeking additional Safety Coordinators to be part of the West Region Delivery Team. Working on critical infrastructure to deliver design construction maintenance and facility management services over the next 5 years across wastewater and recycled water systems in Sydneys Western Region from Windsor to Bargo and out to the Blue Mountains this includes the Western Sydney Aerotropolis Growth Area.
Responsibilities
We are seeking an experiencedSafety Coordinatorto commence on this long term works program in western Sydney.
Reporting to the Safety Manager you will be responsible for providing operational safety leadership safety advice; as well as driving compliance with HSE legislation and contractual obligations for projects. You will be interacting with both selfperform teams and subcontractors.
Were looking for someone who works collaboratively with field staff (and clients) and supports them to get the job done as safely as possible whilst also ensuring that all relevant legislative requirements and internal documentation are completed.
This will suit someone who has a genuine passion for safety an eye for detail and wants to advance their career with a tier 1 utilities contractor.
The West Region Delivery Team home base will be located in western Sydney
What we need from you
Ideally you will have experience in the Water utilities sector with field exposure to treatment facilities/ networks infrastructure and associated Mechanical/ Electrical/ civil infrastructure. You will have;
