Job Description
About the Role
An Outstanding mixed school in Enfield is seeking a passionate English Teacher to join their English department from September. You will inspire students to develop a love for literature and language across Key Stages 3 to 5.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English Teacher lessons tailored to the curriculum.
- Prepare students for GCSE and ALevel examinations.
- Develop students analytical and creative writing skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and resources.
- Organise and lead Englishrelated extracurricular activities such as book clubs and debating societies.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in English.
- Proven experience in teaching English at secondary level including ALevel.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for literature and language.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
