Wine Sales Representative

Job Summary: Call on off and onpremise accounts to present and sell wine and spirits products.
Increase product placements and open new accounts.
Maintain and grow sales by working directly with retailers.
Plan and execute a daily schedule of sales calls.
Meet or exceed service expectations and fulfill designated objectives.
Collaborate with supplier representatives and managers to promote sales.
Participate in trade and instore tasting events.
Communicate and work with suppliers in the market.
Improve product marketability through shelf management display position and price point management.
Plan effectively on a daily weekly monthly and yearly basis to achieve sales goals.
Follow through on issues important to management customers and suppliers.
Candidate should have three years wholesale or equivalent hospitality industry experience.
Basic knowledge of wine and a desire to expand wine education.
Ability to generate opportunities and close a sale.
Selfmotivation and ability to work independently.
Excellent personal and written presentation and communication skills.
Computer literacy and techsavvy.
Valid drivers license and motor vehicle.
