Job Description

Risk Ops Executive NBFC
Locations: Mumbai/Surat
Experience: 3 to 6 Years

Role Summary
Operations & Documentation: Responsible for developing and managing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) policies product notes and internal documentation
Policy Development: Ensure all documentation aligns with regulatory requirements and business objectives
Collaborate: Work across functions (Risk Compliance Operations) to create structured processes for efficient NBFC operations
Report to the Promoter directly

Key Activities & Role Responsibilities
Documentation & Policy Creation:
Develop and implement SOPs across various departments (Risk Ops Compliance)
Draft internal policies ensuring adherence to RBI guidelines and industry best practices
Create detailed product notes for SME loan products (LAP/UBL)

Process Improvement:
Analyze and refine existing processes to improve operational efficiency and ensure compliance
Ensure that all workflows are streamlined and that documentation is accessible and uptodate for internal teams

Collaboration:
Work with the promoter & legal/compliance manager to ensure alignment of processes and policies across the NBFC

Experience & Skillsets
Industry Experience:
23 years of experience in financial services preferably within an NBFC or banking environment
Familiarity with SOP creation documentation and policy drafting Skills

Abilities & Knowhow
Documentation & Policy Development: Experience in writing SOPs and internal policies Strong attention to detail and the ability to translate business needs into clear actionable documentation
RBI Compliance Understanding: Understanding of the RBI guidelines particularly related to NBFC operations
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously ensuring timely completion and accuracy Experience in identifying opportunities for automating repetitive processes especially related to documentation and policy workflows
Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to gather feedback on existing SOPs and policies and incorporate suggestions for improving usability and clarity.
