Job Description
- Perform DNA extraction from various biological samples following standard protocols.
- Conduct RealTime PCR (RTPCR) assays including preparation of samples data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Execute Gel Electrophoresis for nucleic acid and protein analysis.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments and results.
- Assist in optimizing laboratory protocols and workflows.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality and reproducibility in experiments.
- Ensure proper handling storage and documentation of lab reagents and samples.
- Collaborate with team members on data analysis and interpretation.
- Recently completed a degree in Biotechnology Biochemistry Microbiology Molecular Biology or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of molecular biology techniques and genomics.
- Familiarity with NGS platforms (e.g. Illumina Oxford Nanopore) and workflows is a plus.
- Proficiency in documentation and report preparation.
- Commitment to maintaining lab safety and hygiene standards.
- Handson experience with advanced NGS technologies and bioinformatics tools.
- Mentorship from experienced professionals in the field.
- Exposure to realworld applications of genomics research.
