Job Description
WHAT YOU LL DO:
- Develop and maintain fullstack solutions working with both frontend and backend technologies to deliver highquality features and services.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (engineering product design) to define technical vision strategy and roadmap for key products and platform enhancements.
- Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering to deployment and postlaunch monitoring.
- Develop and optimize both frontend and backend systems using a diverse technology stack including Java .NET React/React Native and mobile development frameworks.
- Implement scalable and maintainable code that follows best practices in secure coding testing and performance optimization.
- Utilize Cloud technologies (AWS or Azure) to design implement and deploy solutions that are scalable resilient and costefficient.
- Collaborate with engineering leaders to identify and implement software engineering best practices ensuring compliance with industry standards and security requirements.
- Lead by example in adopting agile practices participating in daily standups sprint planning and retrospectives to foster a collaborative and efficient development environment.
- Mentor junior developers sharing expertise and providing coaching to help grow the teams capabilities and support their career progression.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges applying both depth of knowledge and creative problemsolving approaches.
- Engage in continuous learning staying uptodate with the latest trends and technologies and contributing to the innovation of the team and the broader engineering organization.
WHAT YOU LL NEED:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5 years of relevant software development experience with expertise in both frontend and backend development.
- 3 years of experience with Java .NET React/React Native and mobile development frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Cloud technologies particularly AWS or Azure with handson experience building cloudnative applications.
- Experience working with modern web technologies and building scalable RESTful APIs.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture containers (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong familiarity with agile development methodologies including Scrum or Kanban.
- Excellent problemsolving skills with a focus on building maintainable and efficient software solutions.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices ensuring secure coding and operations in the software development lifecycle.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Passion for continuous improvement and a growth mindset eager to learn and mentor others.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
AND IT S GREAT TO HAVE:
- Experience with AI/ML technologies and integrating machine learning models into software solutions.
- Handson experience in mobile application development using React Native or other frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
- Experience in the fitness or health tech industry or building solutions for largescale user bases.
- Knowledge of application security principles and techniques including secure coding and penetration testing.
- Leadership experience or a demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
