Job Description
Responsible for the service of Windows Monitoring Services:
- Define and implement monitoring requirements in collaboration with service responsible teams
- Support operational processes
- Support with audits and certifications
- Market observation and if necessary evaluation of new products or product versions
- Supporting operations with problem solutions and changes
- Consultancy for specialist departments worldwide
- Collaboration in projects
- Collaboration in DerDack Enterprise Alert operation
Qualifications :
Required knowledge competencies and attributes:
- Degree in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering
- Very good English skills and German is optional
- Experience in working with environment monitoring systems including configuration management and maintenance of Windows Server.
- Familiarity with monitoring and environment management tools such as Opentext Operations Bridge Manager Microsoft System Center SolarWinds Nagios Zabbix etc.
- Ability to analyze monitoring data and report results to identify issues and propose solutions.
- Knowledge of network protocols operating systems and IT infrastructure.
- Ability to work in a team and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to react quickly to changes in the environment and make decisions in crisis situations.
- Industry certifications related to environment monitoring (e.g. MCSE MCSA ITIL) would be an additional advantage.
