SUMMARY
The Medical Account Consultant is an associatemid level sales position responsible for selling our product to urologists urogynecologists and gynecologists. This role serves as the primary relationship owner for an assigned group of doctor accounts with responsibility for retention growth and education. The consultant will ensure doctors derive maximum value from our product by preparing implementation plans leading client onboarding and providing medical training until doctors are comfortable performing the procedure on their own.
This position serves as the primary service contact for doctors and is responsible for their satisfaction including some strategic planning responsibilities. The consultant is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service and leadership to doctor accounts while representing company goals within the organization to ensure quality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Increase sales volume of our specific product within existing offices and medical facilities through account penetration and secure new business.
Ensure doctor satisfaction and retention through consistent productive account calls and inperson visits.
Be responsible for upselling programs services and valueadded products into the current doctor base as asked to by sales management.
Represent the company by consistently demonstrating the understanding and modeling of the companys mission and values.
Stay abreast of and learn about all new technical applications products programs and services available to doctors in the territory and apply or utilize them whenever appropriate or timely.
Stay informed about competitors products services and strategies and report relevant information to the management team.
Align the overall corporate solution to the doctors business needs challenges and technical requirements.
Provide medical training and education to doctors until they are proficient in performing the procedure independently.
Build and maintain a consistently strong pipeline.
Travel to doctor offices for appointments training sessions and followups (up to 50 travel expected).
Adhere to policies around inputting of client and activity data in our CRM in a timely and accurate manner.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree.
Minimum of 2 years successful experience selling to urologists urogynecologists and/or gynecologists is highly valued.
Experience in medical device sales or related fields is preferred but not required.
Ability and experience selling to medical professionals and hospital administration.
Effective problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
Strong communication (verbal and written) and relationship skills including the ability to communicate and establish relationships with different people at various levels in the doctors offices.
Organization and time management skills.
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned annual/quarterly goals and targets.
Attentive to forecasting and business reporting responsibilities.
Reliable transportation and is legal to drive.
At least an intermediate level in using Microsoft Office products especially Excel Word and PowerPoint.
Proficiency with CRM software and adherence to data input policies.
