Job Overview
The Finance Associate will play a critical role in managing Kitchen Table Advisors budget and finances. This is a new role for our Finance team. They will report to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for supporting the director in managing all A/P and A/R expense management financial reporting budgeting audit and grants management. The Finance Associate will work collaboratively with other parts of the broader Organizational Resourcing team including Operations Development and People & Culture in order to support financerelated tasks.
The Finance Associate will embody the organizations values of equity empathy transformational leadership ecological responsibility and resilience. They are essential in supporting timely and highquality completion of Finance projects and tasks.

Ideal Candidate
You are a collaborative selfdriven enthusiastic and experienced accounting professional with understanding of the nonprofit sector. You are familiar with nonprofit accounting standards including fund accounting GAAP FASB and regulations specific to nonprofits. You have a genuine LOVE of numbers and creating spreadsheets and databases. You have a great eye for organizing data. Youre a proactive problem solver who demonstrates creativity and resourcefulness. You possess great interpersonal and communication skills. You welcome both positive and constructive feedback and you want to grow in this position and with KTA.
